A Step By Step Guide To Help You Plan The Perfect Thanksgiving (INCLUDES FREE PRINTABLES)

Screen shot from clipartix.com

We are just one week away, so the step by step guide items are getting smaller and smaller because by now you should have accomplished a bulk of what needs to be done. I hope you’ve printed and stayed on track with the planning sheets from week one and week two. If not, there’s still some time to catch up. If you’ve been keeping up I hope that these past few weeks of planning have been beneficial and have helped you stayed on track this season..

This week we will work on implementing some of the items we worked on within the past two weeks. This checklist includes:

  • GUEST LIST CONFIRMATION-if you haven’t done this already, pull out the checklist that you worked on during week one, confirm who will be attending and what food items they will bring (if any). If anyone is still unsure, be sure to ask them when will be the best time to follow up or give them a deadline to confirm with you. In case you need it, you can find the guest list here.
  • SET UP DECORATIONS-if you haven’t already done this start hanging up the decorations that you pulled out last week and hang them in and outside of the house.
  • GROCERY SHOP-this is the week to start grocery shopping for the items you added to the budget sheet you worked on during week one. In case you need it, you can find the budget sheet here.

This printable is merely a check list but the above gives you an idea of what to look for when checking off the items. I’ve also included the additional notes document just in case there’s anything I left off that you want to take care of. Feel free to share this blog with anyone who you think might need help with Thanksgiving planning. Be sure to check back on Monday for the final checklist.

I have a long history with mental illness. Overcoming depression made me realize my own resilience. It also made it clear that I wasn’t taking care of myself. I believe that in order for us to fully engage with ourselves and others we have to make time for self-love through our self-care habits. My goal with this blog is to encourage women in my age group to make time for self-care daily.
